Ramona Ramadar has been in Gift Planning for over five years. She has served as the Development Associate at St. Francis Hospital for seven years where she was part of the development team that raised over 70MM in Capital Campaign for the construction of the Nancy and Fred DeMatteis Pavilion, a complete renovation of the Emergency Department with state-of the art medical devices, implemented the Engraved Brick Program, managed the Online Giving Program, produced financial reports to reconcile with finance, and trained staff in Raisers Edge.

In her current role, as the Regional Director of Gift Planning at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, she assist with donor relationship development and stewardship of Planned Giving donors across the Midwest (portfolio of 800+), prepare and present life income gift proposals that are individually tailored for prospects and current donors, help manage and grow the Legacy Society, serve as a liaison for affiliates, donors and their advisors on philanthropic planning and provide Planned Giving training to affiliate development staff. From 2015-2017, Ramona has served as the Development representative on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council at Planned Parenthood, helping to create and implement DE&I strategies and initiatives across the Federation.

She has over 10+ years of experience working in Development and holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from City College, an MBA from Adelphi University and a Certificate in Fundraising from New York University.

Presently, she’s one of the Program’s Co-Chair at the Philanthropic Planned Giving Group of Greater New York, responsible for selecting seminars that would be beneficial to the Gift Planning community.
