Planned Giving Coordinator - Development


NewYork-Presbyterian seeks a Planned Giving Coordinator based at NewYork-Presbyterian’s 466 Lexington Avenue site. This position will report to and work closely with the Senior Director of Planned Giving to assist in the Office of Development’s efforts to secure funding for capital projects, state-of-the-art technology, and many other initiatives that will change lives for the better.  In order to be successful, this individual will need to work collaboratively with other staff in the Office of Development and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: communicating with trusts and estates attorneys and other estate representatives and tracking gifts from those entities; assisting with marketing and stewardship materials including newsletters and solicitation mailings; updating the donor database; conducting document and file organization; drafting and editing letters; drafting briefings for senior staff and other written pieces; creating receipt and acknowledgement  letters for incoming estate and trust gifts; communicating with various Hospital departments including Legal and Finance; coordinating data requests and extractions for mailings; assisting with Planned Giving events; and helping donors with physician referrals.
