About Our Speaker

Dianne Belk



Dianne Belk’s personal mission is to knock down barriers to equality that young girls face. Belk is a member of Women Moving Millions and supports The Lupus Foundation and Girl Scouts of the USA as a national advocate and speaker for planned giving. She is an Honorary Trustee of Girl Scouts and is the Founding Chair of Juliette Gordon Low Society (legacy society). Her career focused on the intersection of manufacturing and technology. She founded Focal International, Co., recognized as one of the world’s leading systems designers and integrators, and she pioneered research and development in CAD/CAM and other digital design systems. Her professional positions spanned from her early industrial engineering work to corporate executive vice president of a multi-national public corporation, where she conceptualized and oversaw numerous high-technology mergers aggregating nearly $1 billion. She participated in worldwide manufacturing analysis missions for private industry and the United States government. Dianne now uses the skills she acquired as a Girl Scout in rural Mississippi and honed in her professional career to realize her personal mission and show individuals as well as nonprofits the power of planned giving.
