Part I: "Cases & Problems in Gift Planning"
Jon will discuss an array of real-world cases and problems based on his personal experiences with donors and charities, with references to the tax code, IRS rulings and court cases. Issue identification is one of the skills that will be particularly emphasized during these case presentations. This session is available for CFRE, CLE and CPE Credit.
Part II: "Ethical Questions in Charitable Gift Planning"
During this session Jon will pose a series of questions that will be familiar to, and should resonate with, development officers. These questions will raise ethics issues under New York rules of professional responsibility for lawyers. This session is available for CFRE, CLE and CPE Credit.
12:00 pm - Luncheon Seminar
"Annual Gift Planning Quiz"
Jon has been presenting his Annual Gift Planning Quiz to PPGGNY audiences for many years and it is one of the highlights of our program year. Once again he will challenge attendees with a series of questions that cover the whole spectrum of gift planning issues that involve tax and/or legal implications... and provide the answers at the end of the program. This session is available for CFRE, CLE and CPE Credit.
Financial aid is available for Attorneys and Paralegals pursuing CLE credits. Click here for more information.
