PPGGNY provides an informal forum where members of the planned giving community can learn, interact, and network. Throughout the year members mix and meet during regularly scheduled speaker-luncheons and the occasional seminar. Our annual symposium attracts some of the best and brightest presenters from the greater New York area and beyond.
Membership in PPGGNY identifies you as having the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. Colleagues, advisors and donors will know that you believe in, support and adhere to ethical gift planning through the Model of Standards of Practice for the Charitable Gift Planner.
Membership
Membership in PPGGNY is on an annual basis; it begins on July 1 and continues through June 30 of the following year. When available, half-year memberships are offered in January, but annual memberships are not otherwise prorated. PPGGNY may offer Early Bird incentives for membership renewals in May.
We offer three dues levels:
- Basic membership: $325
- Additional members from the same organization: $295
- Introductory membership: $175

As a PPGGNY member you will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of philanthropy and charitable giving at eight monthly luncheons or luncheon/seminars throughout the year and during our premier event— the annual New York Philanthropic Planning Symposium (NYPPS) in May. At NYYPS, expert speakers and panelists cover an array of topics ranging from tax law to marketing methods to investment issues. You will make new friends and establish relationships with professional colleagues with like minds, great ideas and valuable services.

Membership in PPGGNY includes the Monthly Planner, an electronic newsletter to keep you up to date and involved. Our website’s Members Only section of our website gives you access to our Member Directory, discussion groups, a job bank, event handouts, and much more.
