Randy V. Beranek, Esq. is the Director of Planned Giving at The Salvation Army, Greater New York Division and has more than 20 years of practical fundraising, business and legal experience.
He has served as Director of Planned Giving at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was a member of the Senior Management Team that planned and implemented Columbia’s $1 billion capital campaign.
Before joining Columbia, Randy was Director of Planned Giving at The New York Public Library,
and has also worked with small and medium-sized non-profits to establish new planned giving programs,
including the authorship of a comprehensive Planned Giving Practice and Policy Manual.
Randy is admitted to the Bar in New York, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Planned Giving Group of Greater New York,
where he served as Secretary and Co-Chair of the Program Committee.
He received his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School and holds M.A. and M.Phil. degrees from Columbia University.
