Raising Revenue FOR Planned Giving

Yes, you read it right, without the allocation of resources for a Planned Giving program (no matter how basic or how elaborate) you will never make it happen!

This Seminar is the first of its kind specifically designed for Directors of Development, Major Gifts Officers and Planned Giving Officers. In this participatory workshop we will develop the case to your CFO for seeing that the budget includes financial resources to launch or expand your Planned Giving initiative. PPGGNY Members who want to participate in this seminar are encouraged to bring one colleague (member or non-member) from their organization (e.g., the Director of Development or CFO). A special guest with great insight will be with us.

The Seminar is being offered free to PPGGNY Members courtesy of our Lead Educational Sponsor, National Madison. Space is limited to 60 participants, first come first serve.

Davida Isaacson is a nationally recognized lecturer on major gift and planned gift topics and is an adjunct professor at the George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at New York University.

Ms. Isaacson has served as officer, including President, of the Planned Giving Group of Greater New York and on the Board of the National Committee for Planned Giving. While serving on the NCPG Board Ms. Isaacson headed the Research Committee that conducted a premier study of the motivations of planned gift donors.

She continues to lecture extensively for charitable organizations, i ncluding the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York, WQED/Pittsburgh, American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, the National Kidney Foundation, and American Technion Society among others.

Prior to her work in the not-for-profit industry Ms. Isaacson was a trust and estate banker for twenty years. While a Vice President at National State Bank in Summit, NJ she served on the bank’s charitable gift committee and oversaw grantmaking from the bank’s discretionary charitable gift fund.
